RESUME
BIO
Geoff Lee's artistic journey into the world of glassblowing started at the age of sixteen while attending one of Hawaii's most prestigious schools, Punahou. That was followed by a college career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Upon graduation, he immersed himself into his art, following his passion, improving his skills and techniques by working with several prominent glassblowers around the world. This was then followed by a move back to Hawaii and a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
As an artist of Korean and Jewish descent, the popularity of Geoff Lee's art lies in the melding of those two cultures, popular American culture and traditional Italian glassblowing techniques - a unique blend of old world tradition and modern day innovation. "My goal as an artist is rather simple - to faithfully express through my medium all that is important to my lifelong journey - my passion, my growth and my voice."
